MERCER COUNTY, W.Va. – The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s disaster recovery center in Mercer County will be moving to Princeton for a couple of days this week.

The move is due to a special event being held at the center’s current location at the Maple View Church of Christ.

The center is closed for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day but will re-open at the Lifeline Princeton Church of God located at 250 Oakvale Road in Princeton.

The center will open on Jan. 2 where it will remain until Jan. 4. The days and times for the center can be found below.

Thursday, Jan. 2: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 30: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 7 – Friday, Jan. 10: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
