Nostradamus’ predictions for 2025 have been revealed, after he allegedly predicted the Covid pandemic and Queen Elizabeth II’s death in recent years.
The world’s most famous astrologer and philosopher made 942 predictions for the future using the alignment of the stars prior to his death in 1566. Supporters claim he foresaw significant events including the Great Fire of London and the rise of Adolf Hitler.
According to expert interpretations from his 16th-century book Les Propheties, the prophet predicted catastrophe and conflict in the year ahead. He warned that “those from the lands of Europe” would become involved in “cruel wars” at some stage.
Worryingly, he said the UK would be linked to the conflict, and added: “The ancient plague will be worse than enemies.” Other predictions included “exhaustion” of armies leading to the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine, and for Brazil to be hit by volcanic activity and deadly flooding.
Despite being several centuries later, Bulgarian mystic and healer Baba Vanga, who died in 1996, also had similar views for the year ahead, claiming there would be a global apocalypse with Europe at the centre, reports the Mirror.

The blind mystic, who foresaw her own death six years before it happened, predicted conflict and a new war breaking out between two countries in 2025, with a global impact. She also saw a visit from aliens and the world achieving telepathy.
Many of her predictions of large-scale events have seemingly proved true in recent years, including 9/11, Brexit and an “economic crisis” in 2024, which was faced by the UK.
However, both Nostradamus and Baba Vanga have faced heavy criticism from cynics. Some say Nostradamus’ words could be interpreted to mean anything.
One social media user said of Baba Vanga: “She didn’t even say that the end would begin in 2025, according to her words the end of humanity would come in the year 5,000 (if she were a true prophet).” Another disagreed, crediting her as a “true mystic” who never mentioned specific years in her predictions.
