Police are hunting for a Rangers fan in connection with a brawl in pub.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police want to speak to the him after an alleged serious assault at Blues Bar on Montpellier Parade in Harrogate at around 8.40pm on Monday, September 9.
A man assaulted two other people in the bar and one of the victims sustained a serious arm injury which required treatment in hospital, and the other victim left with minor injuries.
The man police want to speak to is pictured on CCTV with grey hair and a goatee style beard and was wearing a distinct Umbro Rangers training top.
Police have already interviewed a woman in her 40s about the incident but remain keen to trace the man.
Anyone who recognises the man or has any information is urged to contact police.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We recently shared an appeal to identify a man and a woman after a serious assault in Blues Bar on Montpellier Parade in Harrogate.
“Thanks to information you’ve supplied, a woman in her 40s from the South Shields area has now been identified and interviewed. We are continuing to appeal for information about the identity of the man pictured here.
“We believe he may have information about the assault, which left the victim needing hospital treatment. If you know who he is, please email [email protected]

Sharing the post on social media, Police Scotland said: “North Yorkshire Police have asked us to share their appeal to identify a man who may have information about a serious assault in Harrogate. Please contact them if you have any information.”
