Claudia Winkleman has handpicked Minah Shannon as one of the sly Traitors in the latest series of the BBC’s popular gameshow, The Traitors.
The third season kicked off on January 1, introducing 25 new hopefuls vying for a jackpot that could reach £120,000.
Amongst the contestants is 29-year-old Minah, who manages a call centre in Liverpool.
Minah was selected to join the ranks of the Traitors alongside Linda, a retired opera singer, and Armani, a financial investigator. So far, she has skilfully evaded detection by her fellow Faithful participants.
While Linda and Armani have attracted suspicion from their peers, the Liverpudlian has adeptly kept her true role under wraps, reports Wales Online.

Husband and COVID-19 wedding
In December 2020, amidst the pandemic, Minah tied the knot with Liam Shannon. She took to Instagram to share snapshots of their wedding day, adding the caption: “Yesterday I finally got to marry my bestest friend and I’m still on the biggest high.
“Thank you to everyone who was a part of the day but also everyone who couldn’t be there due to Covid and still sent us all best wishes! Our next chapter begins Mr Shannon @liamkshannon.”
During the show’s first episode, she confided in Claudia that if she won, the money would go towards a much-desired honeymoon, hinting that their nuptials during Covid times had put a damper on their original travel plans.
Does Minah have children?
Minah and Liam are proud parents to a two-year-old daughter named Luna, and they frequently share snaps of their “magical girl” on Instagram.
Following Luna’s second birthday celebrations in May 2024, Minah took to social media to express her joy, saying: “Happy 2nd Birthday to our perfect, sassy, magical girl!
“Luna we really are so lucky to be your mummy and daddy! The biggest star ever!”
