The MP for Livingston has issued a New Year message to his constituents.

Gregor Poynton is “filled with optimism for the year ahead” and said he is “committed to delivering real change”.

The Labour politician said the new year is a time for fresh starts, renewed energy, and a chance to embrace new opportunities and challenges.

Reflecting on the past year, Mr Poynton expressed his gratitude for the support and engagement of residents, emphasising his commitment to continued hard work in 2025.

Mr Poynton said he will continue working closely with local residents, businesses, and community groups in the coming year, striving to make the Livingston constituency a place of growth and opportunity for all.

He said: “As we welcome in 2025, I’m filled with optimism for the year ahead. The new year brings with it a sense of renewal, and I’m looking forward to continuing our collective journey towards progress and change. Together, we will tackle the challenges we face and continue to build a strong, vibrant Livingston constituency.
