The Austin Fire Department said a barbeque pit caught fire on Thursday before another fire was reported Friday.
AUSTIN, Texas — Austin firefighters returned to a home on Friday in East Austin for the second day in a row.
The Austin Fire Department (AFD) responded to a fire before 5 a.m. on the 3500 block of Pecan Springs Rd., not far from E. 51st St.
Crews said they arrived to the same home on Thursday after a fire sparked from a family’s barbeque pit that was not put out.
No injuries were reported in either fire, and crews remain on scene Friday morning.
