Helen Flanagan has shared a concerning health struggle with fans after she had to rush to the doctors in her pyjamas because she was in so much ‘pain’.
Taking to Instagram to update her followers, the 34-year-old revealed she was suffering with a water infection as she uploaded a snap of her waiting in the doctor’s reception in her PJ bottoms.
The mum-of-three wrote: “Had to go to the doctors in my PJs. I have such a bad water infection. So painful x.”
Despite her unfortunate start to the year, her next upload revealed that she still had time to start her ‘goal board’ for 2025. A picture on her story showed multiple pieces of cut out card along with scissors, glue, and sequins.
Helen’s health woes come after she recently opened up to fans about the difficult time she went through following her split from her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair who she shares three children with.
She confessed there had been a lot of family fall outs and that she had basically “lost all my money” after being diagnosed with psychosis last year.
The NHS website states: “Psychosis is when people lose some contact with reality. This might involve seeing or hearing things that other people cannot see or hear (hallucinations) and believing things that are not actually true (delusions). It may also involve confused (disordered) thinking and speaking.”

The former Corrie star admitted: “My love life was a s*** show that year…. I didn’t look after my my mental health.
“I felt so s*** and sad. I felt like my whole life was f***ed up now. Thirteen years is a long time to be with someone. My whole 20s.
“I had a lot of family fall outs too and I also lost basically all my money. Me and Scott weren’t married we were engaged.
“My mental health was so bad I thought maybe my kids would be better off without me and maybe they would be better off with their dad as he’s more level headed than me.”
Helen has since moved in with former professional footballer Robbie Talbot and opened up about how spending the festive period with him and her kids “meant so much” to her.
In an Instagram post she uploaded yesterday, she wrote: “Christmas this year with my babies at my mum and dad’s meant so much to me.
“New Year’s Eve – I met Robbie in 2024 who is the loveliest funniest guy and we had such a fun night.”
Helen added: “I prioritised my mental health, made up with a lot of people that I loved and came to a bit of peace.”
She continued: “My head is 70% clearer than it was this time last year and for that I am grateful x Ofcorse my life isn’t perfect no one’s is and everyone has shit going on but I have a lot to be grateful for x
“I remember how I felt in my head this time last year, I felt my head could have exploded and I felt at that time that I needed some tablets to just function x
“Just thought I’d share this if anyone else is in a really bad place…. You can work though things and things can get better no matter how heavy and hard they feel.”
