ST. LOUIS (Gray News) – Parents in St. Louis are celebrating an extra special start to 2025.
According to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, the first baby of the New Year in the city was born at 12:27 a.m. Wednesday to proud parents Felicia and Jacquez Narvaez.
The baby girl was named Miamor. She is the youngest of eight siblings, according to the hospital.
But shockingly, this isn’t the first New Year’s Day baby for the Narvaez family – the parents have a 5-year-old daughter named Marleen who was also a New Year’s Day baby.
Miamor and Marleen will now celebrate a birthday together when the ball drops at midnight every year.
Felicia and Jacquez Narvaez have been married for five years and are “thrilled to welcome their newest bundle of joy,” the hospital said.
