Talented Alejandro Garnacho made a cryptic move on social media ahead of Manchester United‘s clash at Liverpool.
The 20-year-old winger has fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim having been challenged for his attitude in training and around Carrington. He has started on the bench for the past four games and has played just 72 minutes in his last three league fixtures. But his latest move has fans scratching their heads as uncertainty over his future continues to be a topic for discussion.
The young Argentine mysteriously deleted his X account ahead of the team’s crucial Premier League clash against rivals Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. Loyal fans first realised this when his profile page had been greyed out a message on his feed that reads “Something went wrong”.Supporters later spotted Garnacho had updated his Instagram bio, with the winger adding a note that read: “NO TWITTER”.
His motive remains unclear. But it would not be the first time Garnacho has been accused of petulant behaviour He also fell out with previous boss Erik ten Hag in 2023 and the latest rift appears due to the demands of playing in Amorim’s 3-4-3 formation.
