Ferne McCann, the reality TV star and mum of two, has opened up about her family life and the possibility of expanding her brood.
In a candid chat with OK!, Ferne revealed, “I feel like I’m not done,” when discussing the prospect of having more children.
The 34 year old is already a proud parent to one year old Finty, whom she shares with fiancé Lorri Haines, and seven year old Sunday from a previous relationship. She expressed her contentment, saying, “But right now, I feel blessed. We’re a blended family of five [Lorri has a son from a previous relationship]. I just feel so happy with my girls and they’ve got such a lovely relationship – they’re already really close.”
Ferne has previously spoken about her family plans; in 2023, she even suggested she might ‘live stream’ her next childbirth following a ‘euphoric’ experience with Finty’s birth.
“I’d 100% live stream my next birth,” she confidently told OK!, reports the Mirror.
. “I just feel so passionate about sharing how beautiful and positive birth can be. You can be in control. I don’t want to come across as smug, or for people to think, ‘It’s alright for her’. But in the same breath, I don’t want to not tell my story because of the fear that people might think that way of me.”
Ferne McCann, despite being engaged to Lorri for three years after meeting in 2021, is not hurrying down the aisle. She shared: “I did have wedding fever over the summer, we went to some amazing weddings. I even started a Pinterest board! But it’s about priorities and this year’s a big year. Planning a wedding is a mammoth task and, if I’m honest, I’m not sure I can take the added stress at the moment. Maybe 2026, we’ll see.”
With her plate already full, Ferne is set to appear on Dancing On Ice in 2025, an opportunity she’s embracing for herself and her daughters.
She expressed: “This is something for me. As a mum, you do feel you can lose your sense of identity. But I want to do it for my girls, too. Sunday’s at an age where she can come along to the studio – every time I think about her in the audience, it brings me to tears. How gorgeous, that I can share this with my family.”
Her children are her biggest cheerleaders, with Ferne recounting how her daughter Sunday reacted to the news: “When I told Sunday I was doing the show, she was like, ‘Mummy, I don’t want you to fall’. She’s really protective over me.”
