Former “Home Improvement” star Zachery Ty Bryan allegedly punched a woman multiple times, attempted to choke her and threatened to take her life before his latest domestic violence arrest — his third since 2020.

On the night of New Year’s Day, the 43-year-old former child star, who played eldest brother Brad Taylor on the hit ’90s sitcom, allegedly attacked a woman with whom he shares a child, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Upon authorities arriving on the scene in Myrtle Beach, S.C. around 7 p.m., the alleged victim told police that Bryan repeatedly punched her on the left side of her face. She also said he attempted to choke her and cut off her breathing, while threatening to kill her.

According to an incident report, police said the woman — whose identity has not yet been released — had visible injuries that were consistent with her story.

Online records show Bryan was taken into custody and booked into Horry County Jail on Thursday afternoon on charges of second-degree domestic violence. His mugshot shows him with cuts on his cheeks, chin and lips.

He was released shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday after posting a $10,000 bond, according to WMBF News in Myrtle Beach.

It was Bryan’s fourth known arrest since July 2023, when he was taken into custody for domestic violence. He pleaded guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree and was sentenced to a week behind bars that fall.

Bryan was also arrested in Oregon in October 2020 for allegedly strangling his then-girlfriend, Johnny Faye Cartwright, with whom he shares three children.

It’s unknown if Cartwright, who later became Bryan’s fiancée, was involved in this week’s alleged attack. The former child star also shares four other kids with ex-wife Carly Matros, according to Us Weekly.
