The Masked Singer’s Pegasus has had their identity revealed and fans have said it was the easiest one ever.

Prue Leith was hiding underneath the mask during the episode on January 5 which also saw Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway exposed as Spaghetti Bolognese after the cliffhanger the night before.

Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross were back on the panel once again with special guest Vicky McClure in a bid to work our which famous faces were under the outrageous outfits. Bush, Pufferfish, Pegasus, Wolf, Toad in the Hole and Bear all took to the stage for the first time in this series but it was Pegasus and Bush who failed to impress the studio audience and therefore found themselves in the bottom two, reports the Mirror.

After Bush was saved by the celebrity detectives, Pegasus was forced to take off their mask. However, before the big reveal, the panel shared who they thought was behind the mask.

Mo guessed Jane Seymour OBE, David thought Elizabeth McGovern, Vicky suggested Clare Balding, Jonathan thought Prue Leith and Maya said Joanna Lumley but it was revealed that Bake Off star Prue Leith was inside the mythical creature costume.

Speaking to Joel Dommett following the unmasking, Great British Bake Off star Prue revealed that she had singing lessons to take part in the show. However, Viewers were left all saying the same thing as Pegasus was forced to leave the competition. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “#maskedsingeruk probably the easiest one ever.”

Another added: “Yes it was prue a judge from bake off #MaskedSingerUK.” A third person said: “I knew it! PRUE LEITH. I got one right !!” A fourth agreed:”Got it right.” Bush, Pegasus, Wolf, Toad in the Hole, Bear, Teeth, Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Snail and Tattoo will continue to battle it out to be crowned champion of the 2025 series.
