MANOR, Texas — The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area is expanding at all eight Manor ISD elementary schools.
This will provide after-school programming to more than 1,000 students, from the time they’re let out of class until about 6:30 p.m.
There was a ribbon-cutting for the expansion on Monday.
“It will provide programming from academic success, character and leadership, workforce development, even programs around family engagement, healthy lifestyles, and really anything that you feel a young person may need to be successful,” said Zenae Campbell with Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area.
The program will be free for all Manor ISD elementary students.
