I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star GK Barry could be dipping her toe into new waters following her surprise appearance in Harlan Coben’s new Netflix thriller.

The 25-year-old podcaster, real name Grace Keeling, delighted fans when she made a cameo on Missing You, which follows the story of detective Kat Donovan, who is left spooked after finding her ex-partner on a dating app, despite vanishing 11 years ago.

As the twisted tale continues, mystery surrounding her dad’s death also raises suspicions. However, before all of this GK Barry‘s character appears playing with her hair under a blanket, as a voiceover says, “I dream of you. Kissing you. Holding You. The feel of your skin against mine. I love you.”

At the same time, a man, who has his wrists bound, is seen falling off a horse. Could this be the start of her acting career? Grace revealed someone reached out and asked her if she wanted to be a part of the show.

“They approached my manager and said, ‘We’re doing this new Netflix show, and we’d love Grace to be a little part in it.’ And I thought, ‘Well, I’m not going to say no,” GK explained during a chat with Cosmopolitan.

“So we got on a call, and they were explaining who my character was, and it made me laugh so much because it’s very on brand.” Without giving too much away, Grace added that her character is a “foot cam girl.”

Filming took place over one day in Manchester in September last year, as the star admitted she would love to appear back on the small screen again.

Grace added: “They gave me a brief outline of what it was about and read me the line up of people [involved] and I thought, ‘I absolutely will do that.’

“I just wanted to do it because I thought it was kind of iconic. I want to build the CV up so my parents cannot moan about anything! I would do [more acting], like The Office vibes, or something that doesn’t involve tense acting. I couldn’t do Game of Thrones.”
