Celtic have endured a whirlwind start to 2025 as the Premiership fixtures come thick and fast.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were stuffed 3-0 by Rangers on January 2 to cast doubt, not on their title credentials, but on their mentality going into the Old Firm clash. For the moment it gave the blue half of Glasgow a leg up and a hope that something special could happen. A few days later the universe reverted to type once more.
Philippe Clement’s men threw away the lead twice to draw a thrilling 3-3 at Easter Road against Hibernian. Meanwhile Celtic cruised to a 3-0 victory over St Mirren at Parkhead. And Paradise is where they will return to this midweek to face a wounded Dundee United. Jim Goodwin’s men were caught off guard by Hearts who grabbed a shock 1-0 win at Tannadice thanks to James Penrice. The wounded Arabs will no doubt know the pressure is off as they travel to Celtic Park but they will be desperate to show their metal as they fight for European football.
Here, Record Sport tells you everything you need to know ahead of the Scottish Premiership clash.
