Media mogul Ted Turner was reportedly hospitalized for pneumonia and is recovering in a Florida rehabilitation center.

The 86-year-old CNN founder’s illness was “mild,” according to the cable news outlet, which reported Monday that a Turner Enterprises spokesman expects the billionaire businessman to make a full recovery.

Because of his age, Turner will reportedly spend “a few days” getting back to full strength before being discharged.

Turner said in a 2018 CBS News interview he was battling a type of dementia called Lewy body dementia that he deems not “nearly” as bad as Alzheimer’s disease. Symptoms of that illness can include exhaustion and mental lapses.

During that interview, Turner spoke of his achievements in the business world, philanthropic endeavors and short-lived political ambitions, which were quickly chilled by his ex-wife, actor Jane Fonda. Nevertheless, he boasted, “A lot of my dreams have come true!”

Fonda and Turner were married 10 years before she filed for divorce in 2001. She explained to the New Yorker that the pair — each one another’s third spouse — had become incompatible.

“We went in different directions,” Fonda said. “I grew up.”

According to TMZ, Turner remains “engaged in professional and personal endeavors” as he recovers in Florida.

Turner sold CNN for $7.3 billion in 1996, according to Forbes. His 2 million acres of property make him the the nation’s third-largest landowner. He’s now said to be worth $2.5 billion.
