BLUEFIELD, Va. – The Virginia Department of Transportation has given an update on road conditions, and reminders for people on how they can stay updated.
VDOT said in a Facebook post that Interstates 81 and 77 are clear, but that the roads are still wet.
Most secondary highways are still covered in snow, and VDOT said they could be slick. Other roads could have patches of ice, and drivers are urged to use caution.
With more snow possible Monday, VDOT said crews are working 12-hour shifts to get rid of snow and ice on primary and secondary highways.
