HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A woman who had beeb reported missing since November 2024 was found safe Sunday, January 5, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office received a report stating Sierra Rose Dickerson had not been in contact with her family since November 2024. Deputies initiated an investigation to determine her whereabouts and discovered her last known contact was with a Henry County deputy December 13, 2024, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center received a call Sunday, January 5 about an individual, later identified as Dickerson, refusing to leave a residence on Forest Street in Martinsville, according to deputies. Deputies say she left the house but was located after a brief foot chase.
Deputies determined she had chosen not to contact anyone, and her well-being is not in danger.
Her family has been informed of her current location, and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is no longer seeking information regarding her whereabouts.
