Eleven fearless celebrities are gearing up to take the ice by storm on ITV’s Dancing on Ice. Under the scrutiny of judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse, and Ashley Banjo, they’ll be putting their skills to the test.

Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern will be hosting the 2025 series. Among the contestants is Ferne McCann, who has revealed she’s already had a taste of the more painful side of ice-skating. Although the former TOWIE star appears to be a natural on the ice in training photos with pro skater Brendyn Hatfield, her first experience on the ice was far from smooth.

“My first ever experience on the ice wasn’t great and left me scarred, it was the first time I ever went to AandE and got stitches,” she revealed.

She added: “I went to an ice skating party when I was seven and this boy skated into me and his skate went into my leg, but I love that story because like anything in my life, I get back up and here we are.”

Ferne will be joined on the rink by 10 other brave celebrities including fellow TOWIE star Dan Edgar. Viewers can expect to see the Dancing on Ice crowd to feature with some familiar faces from the Essex reality show, reports the Mirror.

“Joey Essex is a very good friend of mine who has previously done the show and he’s given me a bit of advice,” he shared.

Dan also revealed who he expects to be in the crowd cheering him on, adding: “And I know Diags and Lockie will be there.”

Heading into the competition with minimal skating experience, Dan is set on victory and is more concerned about wardrobe than footwork. He admitted: “I’m a bit nervous about the outfits, I’ve said that as long as they keep me away from the little sparkly hot pants it should be fine.”

Also starring on this year’s Dancing on Ice is The Traitors star Mollie Pearce, Hollyoaks‘ Chelsee Healey, Springwatch favourite Michaela Strachan, former EastEnders star Charlie Brooks, Coronation Street’s Sam Aston, comedian Josh Jones, Love Island’s Chris Taylor, ex-footballer Anton Ferdinand, as well as Sir Steve Redgrave.

Dancing on Ice will kick off on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 12 January at 6.30pm.
