New AC Milan boss Sergio Conceicao soaked up the celebrations after leading the Italian giants to Super Cup glory against bitter rivals Inter.

Tammy Abraham was the hero as the former Chelsea star completed a sensational two-goal comeback to fire a stoppage-time winner in Monday’s final in Riyadh. Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi either side of the half-time whistle had Inter in dreamland and on the verge of an unprecedented fourth consecutive Super Cup triumph.

But Simone Inzaghi’s side were left stunned as Milan roared back to equal Inter’s haul of eight wins in the prestigious tournament. Theo Hernandez dragged Milan back into the game with a thunderous free-kick before Christian Pulisic hit an 80th-minute equaliser. The epic bout seemed on course to be settled by a penalty shootout – with no extra-time to be played – before super sub Abraham broke Inter’s hearts in the dying seconds with an easy tap-in.

The England striker’s goal sparked jubilant scenes at full-time as Milan duo Mike Maignan and Davide Calabria lifted the trophy – with Inter’s shattered players left devastated. The euphoric celebrations continued in the dressing room as manager Conceicao partied with his triumphant stars in only his second game in charge.

In footage posted on Instagram by history-maker Abraham, the ex-Porto boss was captured puffing on a cigar and showing off his dance moves as his players and staff boogied around him. It’s early days but Conceicao – who replaced sacked Paulo Fonseca in the San Siro hotseat last month – has certainly proved a popular appointment with the Reds and Blacks.

However, the Portuguese still has a mammoth job on his hands to turn things around in Serie A, with Milan a staggering 17 points adrift of league leaders Napoli and eight behind fourth placed Lazio, who occupy the final Champions League spot.

Meanwhile there was a surprise shoutout for Celtic legend Scott Brown during commentary of the five-goal classic.
