A new culinary experience in Dumfries and Galloway aims to take farm-to-table dining to the next level.

The Field Fare Supper Club at Low Auldgirth Steading is promising an unforgettable dining experience bringing people closer to the land – as they’ll be enjoying a six-course feast in a rustic barn surrounded by the fields and woodland where the food was grown.

Chef Darren Ross will be offering a menu inspired by the seasons, with food prepared over an open flame.

Ingredients will be harvested directly from the farm with each dish a celebration of sustainable, local produce.

Low Auldgirth owner, Ruth Ashton-Shaw, said: “We wanted to create more than just a meal. It’s about connecting people to the land, the seasons, and the story behind every ingredient.

“Our supper clubs are designed to leave guests with a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from and the care that goes into producing it.”

The first in Field Fare Super Club’s winter events will take place on January 31.

Tickets, as well as details of more dates, are available from www.nurturefromnature.co.uk/event/supperclub.
