The soon-to-be retired flavors will join other flavors like Raspberry Rally in the vault.

WASHINGTON — Two Girl Scout cookie flavors are headed for retirement after the 2025 season.

Girl Scouts of the USA announced Tuesday that its iconic S’mores and Toast-Yay flavors will exit the cookie lineup at the close of the season. The S’mores flavor, a take on the fireside treat, was first introduced in 2017 while Toast-Yay, inspired by French toast, joined the classics in 2021.

Fans of the beloved cookie flavors can still purchase them through 2025 while supplies last, according to the Girl Scouts. The flavors will be available for purchase at cookie booths or through Digital Cookie online sales.

S’mores and Toast-Yay will have one last hurrah alongside classic flavors like Thin Mint, Samoas/Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs for this cookie season.

The soon-to-be retired flavors will join other flavors like Raspberry Rally in the vault. Raspberry Rally, which was marketed as the “Sister Cookie” to the iconic Thin Mint, had a brief one-year run before it was discontinued. The Rallies were only ever sold online, starting during the 2023 cookie season, a strategy aimed at boosting e-commerce skills among the troops. But the difficult-to-find cookies sold out for many troops immediately, with boxes popping up on eBay for up to $50.

The organization has not announced any replacement flavors for Raspberry Rally, S’mores or Toast-Yay.

The Girl Scout cookie season officially kicked off Tuesday, Jan. 7. The season typically runs from January to April, but local timing varies based on location.
