A car has smashed through a post office window on a Scots high street as local cops ask the public to avoid area.
Emergency services raced to Church Street in Tranent on January 9 after reports of a one vehicle smash. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the crash.
Shocking images show the vehicle lodged into the shop window with glass and debris lying across the pavement. Police remain at the scene and the street is partially closed off to locals.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance in the Church Street area of Tranent following a one-vehicle crash which happened around 11.30am.
“Church Street is partially closed however public transport can still pass through. Locals are advised to avoid the area in the meantime.”
