Ex-Rangers star Andy Halliday and his influencer wife Jilly Isabella announced yesterday they are expecting their first child together – and now more information has come to light about the happy news.
Jilly, 30, posted an adorable reel of the pair – both wearing caps which read ‘father’ and ‘mother’ – last night.
The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish Glasgow wedding in July last year, looked delighted as they shared the news on Jilly’s Instagram page.
Today, as she celebrated her 30th birthday, in an exciting ‘blink or you’ll miss it’ moment, Jilly shared the couple are expecting a baby girl. The fashion entrepreneur spent her 30th birthday in Dubai surrounded by floating golden and cream balloons as she posed with a bouquet of flowers.
“Feeling so grateful and content. Thank you so much for all the lovely messages I am overwhelmed lmao. Andy and I are so so excited,” she wrote alongside heart and watering-eye emojis.
Giving a closer look at some of her gifts and cards, Jilly shared with her 181k followers her card from Andy which included the baby scan and confirmed the gender. It read: “Happy birthday to my bestie. You are the best friend, best wife and going to be the best mum to our wee baby girl.”
Announcing the news, Jilly, who regularly stands in for Laura Anderson on her Capital Radio breakfast show with Fat Brestovci, posted a reel with the simple caption: “having a baby x” as she looked glowing in the clip before showing off her small bump hidden underneath her unbuttoned shirt and blazer, which she paired with jeans and the ‘mother’ cap.

Motherwell midfielder Halliday then appeared in the clip, wearing the ‘father’ cap and giving Jilly a quick kiss. Friends and fans of the popular couple rushed to the comments section to share their congratulations.
One wrote: “awwww lovely lovely lovely !!! congratulations.” With another adding: “CONGRATS.” A third chimed: ” shut up!!! congratulations gorgeous girl.”
