Frankie Bridge found herself in a somewhat awkward situation during her appearance on the Loose Women panel for Thursday’s (January 9th) episode of the well-liked ITV chat show.
As the programme commenced, there was a noticeable air of commotion as host Charlene White, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, ex-model Katie Piper, and Frankie settled into their chairs.
Shortly after the opening, Charlene remarked: “Sorry I just had to help Frank there, a bit of a wardrobe malfunction” while the ex-member of The Saturdays owned up to the audience about her near mishap moments before the live broadcast.
Visibly flustered and looking down to fix her attire, Frankie acknowledged: “Had a wardrobe malfunction,” which led to her co-host Charlene chiming in with support: “But you’re all ok now.”
Confirming that everything was back in order, Frankie gave an emphatic nod, reassuringly stating: “I’m alright, I’m ok now,” reports the Liverpool Echo.
During the show, Frankie candidly shared insights into bedtime routines with her husband, football ace Wayne Bridge, and their two boys. The discussion arose around a sleep expert’s contentious opinion that “children should be allowed to decide their own sleep time”.
The consensus amongst the panelists was clear, each one agreeing that as parents, setting “boundaries” was beneficial for their kids, providing them with a sense of “safety and security”.
Discussing the same topic, Frankie opened up about her domestic life, particularly concerning sleeping arrangements. She revealed that her two kids often end up sharing her bed at night.
The singer-turned-television personality confessed: “I have a big bed and emperor size bed bed and I got someone to design me a bed with drawers with mattresses in so that the boys can get in bed with us and not disturb our sleep.”
The concept piqued the interest of all the mums on the show, who collectively exclaimed: “What a great idea,” but Frankie was quick to point out that the reality wasn’t as perfect as it sounded.
“It’s funny it doesn’t really work if I’m honest, last night I was squished in between my eldest and my youngest… and Wayne had a really tiny spot and I had a toe up my nose,” she quipped, eliciting laughter from her ITV colleagues.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 from 12.30pm
