February will see two silent disco’s taking place at the Linlithgow Burgh Halls.
At a silent disco instead of loud music, participants will be given headphones and music will be transmitted to everyone wearing the special headsets.
To those watching it appears to be a room dancing to no music! Three different channels of music will be broadcast and guests can choose between.
The venue will be hosting a Pop Party silent disco on Saturday, February 22, which will kick off at 6.15pm and geared towards families then followed by an adult only event from 9pm covering the 80’s, 90’s and Noughties.
The event will see three live DJ’s playing simultaneously with guests able to flick between the DJ’s, with several genres and era’s of music covering the three channels of music.
The events will be organised by Falkirk-based silent disco company Silent Knights.
A spokesman said: “We have ran silent discos at many festivals, including Party at the Palace, and the reaction from the guests has been amazing.
“We wanted to take the fun around Scotland and Linlithgow is a great location with a perfect venue, we’ve had a great response so far.”
He added: “The silent disco phenomenon is growing with many venues and events now under strict noise pollution regulations, the wireless headphone option is a fun and functional solution.
“If you haven’t tried it before we urge you to come along and join the party.”
The silent disco’s take place at Linlithgow Burgh Halls on Saturday, February 22, at 6.15pm and 9pm.
