Jake Quickenden is over the moon as he and his wife Sophie celebrate the arrival of their baby boy, sharing the first adorable pictures with fans.
The I’m A Celebrity star, 36, announced the joyous news of their second child’s birth after revealing they were expecting back in July with a video and gender reveal.
Jake took to social media to share the news, writing: “Welcome to world little one. Kit Quickenden 6lb 13oz. Born 08/01/25 – As a dad I just want to say Sophie was incredible, thank you for delivering Kit and being so amazing.”
The couple has been inundated with congratulatory messages, with Strictly Come Dancing‘s Tasha Ghouri posting: “Huge congratulations! ! ” Daisy Wood David chimed in with: “Congratulations you guys! ! Same birth weight as Ari he looks gorgeous xx.”
Charlotte Dawson also added her well-wishes, saying: “Congratulations guys, he’s so beautiful and Sophie you look insane! ! !”
Jake and Sophie tied the knot in 2022 following a four year romance. They are already proud parents to Leo, three, and Sophie’s son Freddie, 10, from a previous relationship reports the Mirror.
When announcing their pregnancy in July, Jake shared: “WE HAVE NEWS…. soon to be five. We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world. We are super excited. Can’t wait to live off 2 hours sleep again. Have a lovely Sunday.”
In a sweet montage video, the couple, along with their children Leo and Sophie’s son Freddie, shared the special moment when they reveal news to their family. The final scene shows the couple poised to dip champagne glasses into a cake for what seems like a gender reveal, but it cuts out before revealing the cake’s colour.

Before Kit was born, Jake had a candid chat about selecting names, explaining to OK!: “We’ve got two in the running I’m not going to give them away just yet. I don’t want to say them, and then we might totally change our minds. I prefer one, and Soph likes the other, so I think we’re going to wait until he’s born, have a look at him, see what he looks like. I’m sure it will cause World War Three when we each want to go with a different name.”
The middle name, however, was a certainty due to the sentimental value. With the loss of his father in 2009 to myeloma and the devastating passing of his brother Oliver to bone cancer at just 19 in 2013, Jake was determined to honour their memories as he said: “Leo’s middle name is Oliver, after my little brother, and the new baby’s middle name is going to be Paul after my dad.”
