A photographer caught the moment a man got down on one leg in a “surprise” proposal” at a popular Scots tourist spot – and begged others to “get out the shot”.
Ezra pretended to be a tourist before he caught the wholesome moment in Edinburgh. He said it was the “busiest proposal” he had ever photographed – admitting he had to ask various people to get out of the shot.
The camera man began snapping the couple as the male got down on one knee at The Vennel. As he posted the moment on social media, he added he “edited everyone else out” and explained it’s all part of the job.
Filmed before the beautiful moment took place, the couple can be seen approaching the photographer to ask for a picture. As reported in Edinburgh Live, they started posing for a normal photo before the proposal began to unfold.
Ezra said on TikTok: “This was the busiest surprise proposal I’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph. It wasn’t a pleasure editing everyone else out though but all part of the job.”
Replying to a comment on his video, he said “everyone has a right” to enjoy the tourist spot but pleaded if anyone sees a proposal to “run out the shot as quickly as possible.”
He wrote: “Before anyone comments, yes everyone has the right to be here but at the same time, if you see a proposal just run out the shout as quickly as possible. Please and thanks.”
More than 200 people shared their congratulations for the couple. One person commented: “What a gorgeous way to start the day. Beautiful photos and a beautiful proposal. Congratulations to the couple.”
