Interest in Ben Doak continues to rise with Liverpool reportedly slapping a £30million price tag on his head.
The Scotland international – who moved to the Reds from Celtic – has been making the headlines during his loan spell in the English Championship with Middlesbrough while his performances with Steve Clarke and Scotland have also caught the eye in recent times.
That’s making English Premier League clubs stand up and taken notice with Bournemouth now the latest name in the mixer with The Sun reporting that they’ve moved ahead of rivals Crystal Palace in the chase for the 19-year-old – but they may be willing to wait until the summer to complete any move. It is claimed by the same publication that it would take a £30million offer to get him out of Anfield with Palace said to be reluctant to meet that fee however the Cherries may go close – if current star Antoine Semenyo heads out the door in a major move.
Liverpool are said to be one of the clubs interested in the latter alongside Newcastle but Bournemouth value the Ghana star at a huge £50m. He’s now cup-tied after scoring against West Brom in the FA Cup third round and the big price tag could make a move during the winter a long shot.
