Firefighters raced to tackle a huge blaze at a house in Glasgow last night.
Crews rushed to Fairbairn Path in the city’s east end after receiving reports of a property on fire at 4.41pm.
Images shared with the Record show the inferno engulfing the building with smoke tearing through the roof of the home.
Thick pockets of smoke can be seen billowing into the sky and across the city as firefighters battled the flames.
Three fire engines were drafted to the scene.
It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 4.41pm on Saturday, January 11, to reports of a fire at a property on Fairbairn Path, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene.
“Firefighters left the scene at 8.50pm after ensuring the area was safe.”
