PRINCETON, W.Va. – Jan. 12 is Stick to Your New Year’s Resolution Day, and for some, those resolutions include hitting the gym. But if you’re new to working out, a local gym-goer has advice for you.
“Start slow, and don’t try to do too much all at once,” said Antonio, a gym member of Princeton Health & Fitness Center.
For those hard days when you don’t want to work out, Antonio encouraged people to just keep at it.
“It’s hard work, you don’t want to do it, but you got to get it done,” Antonio continued.
Antonio also explained that on days when he doesn’t feel like going to the gym, he uses prayer to help him get motivated.
“I just self-motivate. I just pray… get my strength from God, and then through myself, and… just keep at it… don’t give up, no matter what,” added Antonio.
Good luck to everyone out there working on their New Year’s resolutions. For more information on Princeton Health & Fitness Center, click here.
