A 17-year-old male has been arrested after a teenager was found seriously injured on a Scots street in an alledged ‘stabbing’.

The incident happened on Bath Street in Portobello around 6.40pm on Friday, January 10.

Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment of serious injuries.

Police made a public appeal at the weekend for information when they said three men were believed to be involved. They confirmed today that a 17-year-old has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
