Airdrie have signed striker Ricco Diack on loan from Partick Thistle until the end of this season.
Diack, 19, has played 13 games for Thistle this season, scoring once, and is the son of former Morton and Albion Rovers hit man Iain Diack.
The young striker has scored four times in total for Thistle, his first coming in a 2-1 win against Airdrie in December 2023.
Airdrie boss Rhys McCabe told the club’s website: “We’re delighted to get this deal done, it’s one that came about very quickly.
“Ricco is a striker who has good attributes, he’s quick, mobile and physical – which is possibly something we’ve been missing with Aaron Reid out injured.
“Ricco’s desperate to increase his minutes, he’s really eager to get going, so we’re excited to bring him in.”
Diack goes straight into tonight’s squad for the trip to Livingston.
