Peter Andre has made a significant decision about his family’s future after welcoming his latest child at the age of 51.

The Mysterious Girl singer and his wife Emily MacDonagh became parents to their third child, Arabella, in April last year. The youngster is almost two decades younger than Peter’s oldest son, Junior, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price.

However, Peter has now declared that Arabella will be his “last kid”. He admits that the “lack of sleep” that comes with a newborn baby feels “a little bit different” now than when he was in his thirties.

Despite this, he says his older children, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, have been lending a hand around the house, with Junior often assisting with school runs. Peter praises his 11-year-old daughter Amelia as being “ultimate” in caring for Arabella, often seen walking around the house with the tot and playing with her.

While Peter has enjoyed fatherhood, he confirms he’s done with having more babies. Speaking to Bella magazine, he said: “It has been an amazing experience, but I think what’s happened this time around is that I’ve realised this is our last time.”

“I’ve never had a limit before – it was always that I’d love to have five or six kids, but I now know this is it. At 51, the lack of sleep feels a little different than at 31.”

Peter and Emily are parents to Millie, eight-year-old Theo, and Arabella. Meanwhile, both Junior and Princess are from the singer’s first marriage, reports the Mirror.

The couple are set to celebrate a decade of marital bliss this year, having exchanged vows at Mamhead House in Devon back in 2015. However, their anniversary plans may have to be put on hold due to Peter’s jam-packed schedule for 2025.

The upcoming year will see him embarking on a tour with The Best of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, making an appearance in a film, creating more music, and even featuring in a 10-part murder mystery series. Despite being tight-lipped about the show, Peter is hopeful that they’ll be able to commemorate their anniversary by revisiting Santorini, the small Greek island where they honeymooned

Although it should ideally be a time for just the two of them, he concedes that they’re likely to bring along their entire brood. He explains that they prefer to “do everything as a family”.

While 2025 might be “too crazy” to squeeze in a grand celebration, he hopes to “find something” to honour their 10-year union. Now in his fifties, Peter reflects on the wisdom he’s gained over the years.

He believes he’s a “better person” now than he was in his twenties, admitting that he was a “bit arrogant” in his youth. However, he credits becoming a father as the “start of the journey of me getting better”.
