The Traitors fans believe they’ve uncovered old video footage of Linda performing in a London opera show from over four decades ago.

The 70-year-old, who was chosen as a Traitor by Claudia Winkleman in the BBC show, is a retired opera singer from Hertfordshire and has quickly became a fan favourite among viewers for her hilarious one liners.

In an unearthed clip, which has since gone viral on TikTok, a blonde haired singer can be seen walking across the stage while belting out a track from a 1982 performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto in London and fans are convinced the female vocalist is a much younger Linda.

As it turns out, their hunches are probably correct as a ‘Linda Rands’ is credited as a vocalist on the official Rigoletto soundtrack, according to Discogs.com.

The TikTok posted by user @alice_wt is captioned: “#thetraitors is this our queeen? Big Big thank you to the ultimate hero who found this @rachel”

The 20-second clip has now received over 600k views and more than 60k likes. In the comment section, social media users were blown away by Linda’s impressive performance.

One wrote: “Yesss! I’ve been wanting to see clips of her singing.” A second added: “I love her even more now”, with a crying face emoji.

A third speculated whether Linda is secretly related to another contestant after drawing comparisons between a young Linda’s appearance and another female on the show.

They questioned: “She looks like Francesca, maybe she’s her secret mum” with a side eye emoji. Someone else quoted one of Linda’s most iconic lines on the show to date as they wrote: “Ohhhhh myyyy godddd whooo the hell isnt going to come baaaaaaack” with two musical emoji signs.

Another chimed in: “Omg so that’s where her acting skills are from hahaha.”

While fans have been loving Linda’s antics on the show, others are concerned that her days may be numbered after several Faithfuls are now keeping a suspicious eye on her.

In Friday night’s latest episode of the show, Linda and her fellow traitor Minah were tasked with taking on a tricky secret mission which involved taking the quill from the library and writing the names of four Faithfuls on a painting in the bar without being caught.

However, beady eyed fans noticed that when Linda inked Fozia’s name on the picture, she penned the name in the same unusual style as when she cast her vote at the round table earlier in the same episode.

Fans will have to wait until the next episode, which airs on Wednesday evening to find out if Linda got away with the mission and survives another day on the show.
