A former star of the BBC series The Traitors has suggested that a high-profile celebrity could be ideal for a potential celebrity special, after they expressed their love for the show.

In an exclusive conversation, Jaz Singh named an Oscar-nominated Marvel actor who might be interested in an All-Star edition following a chance encounter. Jaz appeared in the second series of the popular reality gameshow and made it to the final. Despite being narrowly beaten to the cash prize by Traitor and eventual winner Harry, he earned the nickname Jazatha Christie for his knack for identifying potential Traitors, reports Wales Online.

Speaking on behalf of SlotsCalendar, he explained that the way he exited the show means he would ‘one million percent’ be willing to return to the series in the future to set things right. He also suggested that Andrew Garfield would be an excellent contestant in a star-studded version of the show after the two met at a train station.

Jaz has confessed he wouldn’t be averse to adopting a different role in the game. He remarked: “I think Jazatha Christie needs to go back in that castle to avenge himself, if I’m honest, it is calling me. Maybe one day, we will see that. I think because of how much I wanted to be a Traitor. Last time when I was chosen, it was the stars aligned themselves for me to be a Faithful. I think being a Traitor would be the only way because I just like to be in control of the game. It’s such an easier role if I’m honest with you. You’re in control, you don’t even have to be lied to, which is the best part of it.”

In a conversation about who he’d choose to face-off with in the castle, Jaz didn’t hesitate to pick a celebrity follower of the show whom he befriended after encountering by chance. This celeb encounter occurred after he bumped into Andrew Garfield, known for starring opposite Florence Pugh in the romantic comedy We Live In Time.

Jaz recounted: “I was doing a VT for This Morning for the Agatha Christie piece on ITV. In that I had to go from Paddington to Torquay. So I’m at Paddington station and I bump into Andrew Garfield – Spider-Man! He literally looked at me, shouted my name there in the station. I shook his hand, not realising who he was at first until I looked at him properly and I was just blown away.”

“He knew who I was, he was a massive fan of the show and he said, you know, Jaz, I really wanted you to win and it’s so weird that we’re bumping into into each other like this because I’m texting my mates about you right now, and he showed me his messages. So, he took my number. We’ve been talking about the new show so it’s just one experience like that. I’d love to play with him.”

The Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
