A Perthshire bookshop turned away customers this week as it closed for a filming project starring 90s modelling icon Caprice Bourret.

The American model, TV personality, singer, actress and businesswoman was snapped in the small Scottish town of Aberfeldy on Tuesday as she apparently filmed a new Christmas film set in the Highlands.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star was spotted filming at the Aberfeldy Watermill – Bookshop, Cafe & Art Gallery, located in Mill Street.

Bosses at the book store revealed that it had been sworn to secrecy over the filming project.

Taking to the stores social media, they posted: “Well, folks, would you like to know a secret? It’s time to reveal the real reason the Watermill was closed yesterday.

“Although we were sworn to secrecy beforehand, the bookshop was actually closed yesterday to be used as a movie location!

“The place was buzzing as the cast and crew of the film descended on the Watermill to shoot a charming Highland Christmas film.”

Extensive shooting took place both inside and outside the shop, as Caprice was snapped filming her scenes.

During her acting career, she has appeared in some iconic British TV shows, including Hollyoaks and Dream Team.
