Glasgow will bear witness to a Rangers Football Club stage musical which will explore the club’s fall from grace.

‘The Journey Back – From Cowdenbeath to the Champions League‘ is the smash hit Glasgow Rangers stage show written by Stuart Hay. The Gers show takes audiences through the turbulent last 10 years of the Ibrox club through the eyes of a father and son. The duo are diehards Light Blues supporters and they will journey from near extinction of their team and their way of life back to “success and stability”.

The show initially debuted in 2023 to a sell out crowd in the iconic 3000-capacity SEC Armadillo in Glasgow. The Journey Back was such a success that it was taken on the road, completing a sold out UK tour. Venues include those in the famed London West End and it has been dubbed by Stuart Hay Productions as the the “biggest Rangers show in the world”.

When and where does The Journey Back take place?

The show will be held at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Friday January 31. The musical makes the return to Glasgow after sell out success at the SEC Armadillo.

How much are tickets and are there many left?

Yes there is, but they are selling fast. Depending where you are sitting tickets will cost somewhere between £47.10 and £69.80 which includes an admin fee. The ticket limit is set at eight purchases per person. An age restriction is in place with under 16s needing to be accompanied by an adult.

Where can I buy tickets for The Journey Back?

Are there more shows other than Glasgow?
