Devotees of The Apprentice won’t have to wait much longer for the brand new series as the launch date has now been announced.

Last year, Rachel Woolford, who runs a boutique fitness studio, successfully bagged a £250,000 investment from business tycoon Lord Alan Sugar.

Now, a fresh group of 18 contestants are preparing to battle it out for their own shot at success and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win Lord Sugar’s £250k investment. The 19th season of The Apprentice is scheduled to debut on BBC One on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

This will be followed by a new series of The Apprentice: You’re Fired, which will be available on iPlayer each week, immediately after the main show.

To tantalise fans, the BBC has given viewers a sneak peek by revealing that the season’s first episode will transport the contestants to the snowy Austrian Alps, where they’ll be tasked with selling tour packages, reports the Mirror.

The trailer for the new series promises an exhilarating and action-filled experience with Lord Sugar’s aides Karen Brady and Tim Campbell appearing far from impressed.

After viewing the clip online, one individual remarked: “Yes, yes, it’s gonna be good. I’m glad the apprentice is back. While another added: ” Another added: “I can’t wait!”

Another thrilled viewer exclaimed: “YAYYAYAY I’M SO EXCITED.”

Another enthused: “Absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait Lord Sugar, this is one of the few gems of the BBC that I do enjoy so much, bring it on..”

One enthusiastic fan exclaimed: “Can’t wait at last for something to watch on TV.” Another fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “I love this show. Proper entertainment. Excellent.”

According to the new series’ synopsis: “For the candidates who survive the first boardroom with Lord Sugar, an array of challenging tasks lie ahead.”

“As the series progresses, they’ll need all their creativity and business acumen as they tackle a gamut of challenges – from creating a virtual pop star and converting a pile of potatoes and tomatoes into profit to designing and marketing Easter Eggs.”

The statement continued: “The adventure also includes a corporate hospitality challenge in Turkey, and they’ll face the iconic bargain-hunting task in historic Stratford-upon-Avon.”

“And let’s not overlook Interviews Week when the final five contenders endure the most rigorous scrutiny of their lives from some of Lord Sugar’s closest business allies.”
