Death in Paradise fans are eagerly awaiting the show’s return later this month, which will see the comeback of a fan favourite character – JP Hooper, played by Tobi Bakare.
DI Mervin Wilson, portrayed by Don Gilet, is ready to say goodbye to the island after solving the ‘Who shot the Santas?’ mystery and dealing with his estranged mother’s death. However, a case that deeply affects the station crew might convince him to extend his stay.

JP Hooper had previously left Saint Marie after the birth of his twins and an exciting promotion training new police recruits. However, according to the Express, the officer is set to return in the first episode of the upcoming series.
