The club have been raising funds for two decades and a spokesperson for the charity said: “Ayrshire Cancer Support are extremely grateful to have received support from Loudoun Gowf Club for the last 20 years, through their annual Charity Golf Days and other various fundraising events.

“This incredible support from ‘The Wee Club with a Huge Heart’, is truly heartwarming, and this community support allows Ayrshire Cancer Support to continue to deliver their essential, free services to those affected by cancer across Ayrshire.”

Liz and Sally, members of Loudoun Gowf Club, said: “As a current volunteer driver (Liz), I know first-hand the value of the services that ACS offer to cancer patients and their families. I (Sally) accessed services through ACS when I went through my own cancer diagnosis over 20 years ago, and they truly helped to save my life.

“Many members of the club for the charity or have accessed the services themselves, so we are thrilled to organise so many wonderful fundraising events throughout the year.

“The support that ACS offer to the local community is invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful that we can give back in this way.”
