TAZEWELL COUNTY, VA – The superintendent of Tazewell County Public Schools is reassuring the public it is taking every measure possible when it comes to cyber safety.
Following a cyber security incident impacting software utilized by Tazewell County Public Schools in December, Dr. Chris Stacy says the company in charge of the software (PowerSchool) will notify people if their or their child’s information has been compromised.
The school system notes in its press release that leaders have not been provided details on what information, if any, was exposed.
