Last night’s gripping episode saw Linda finally outed as a Traitor and banished.

After an intense Round Table discussion full of allegations, Linda found herself on the receiving end of the majority vote, leading to her banishment. Shockingly, among those who wrote Linda’s name was her fellow Traitor Minah.

On leaving the Round Table, a gracious Linda expressed: “Guys, I’ve had the most amazing time, this has been the pinnacle of my life and to experience this at my age and get this far, I’ve had a whale of a time, so thanks for it! I am a Traitor.”

The suspicions surrounding Linda had been mounting, and her departure means there’s now just a single Traitor among the players.

Post-banishment, Linda spoke about her nerves at being made a Traitor, but admitted to relishing the role. Recalling the moment of selection, she said: “I have to say when Claudia was going around the table I started to panic, thinking no I don’t want to be one, don’t choose me! Once I got over it, I absolutely loved it.”

When reflecting on the group dynamics, Linda observed: “It was a very loud bunch! There were quite a lot of very big personalities, and I thought I’m a big personality but boy, there were some really big personalities. But all lovely. Everybody hugged, it was so nice, we were all in the same boat.”

Linda confessed that she had no game plan entering the show, revealing one thing she wish she’d done differently: “I think I would have stood up for myself more.

“I realised that in that group of people they were so vocal and I wasn’t as vocal as I could have been. I think Jake mentioned on the last round table when I defended myself that that was the first time he’d heard me defend myself.

“I would have been more vocal, but it’s difficult because everyone has things to say, and I was just listening. Because I was a Traitor and knew who the Traitors were, it was difficult to pick people to accuse because I knew they weren’t!”

Reflecting on her time on the show, Linda shared what she learned about herself. In the wake of her exit from the show, her co-star Fozia referred to her as ‘slippery snake’.

“I’m a good liar short-term to people I don’t know, but not a good liar when its long-term and with people I actually get to like,” Linda started. “I’ve realised I’m not as good a liar as I thought I was!”

Linda said she was happy with how far she got in the game, stating: “I’m okay with it. I’m really proud that I wasn’t the first Traitor who left. I’m proud that I made it that far because I seriously thought I’d go out pretty quickly. I was told I got as far as Paul did in the last series and I never thought I’d get that far.”

The Traitors continues on BBC One and iPlayer tonight at 9PM (January 16)
