The Traitors viewers reckon they have sussed out the downfall of one contestant after a murder ‘casts suspicion’ among the group.

Fans have been on tenterhooks throughout this series of The Traitors, and Thursday’s episode (January 16) was packed with even more deceit, manipulation and shocking murders.

As the contestants gathered for their daily breakfast together, a flashback from the previous night revealed that Anna had been murdered.

Wales Online reports fans were left scratching their heads and predicted the downfall of Traitor Minah after Anna was the only person who voted for her during the banishment ceremony the day before.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: “Killing Anna makes Minah look guilty as hell, dumb move #TheTraitorsUK.

Another fan took to the social media platform to write: “Getting rid of Anna was such a risky move #TheTraitorsUK.”

Someone else asked: “#TheTraitorsUK Isn’t Anna’s murder going to cast suspicion on Minah?”

One viewer shared: “NAHHHH people are gonna get suspicious of Minah now because Anna voted for her yesterday #TheTraitorsUK.”

A fifth expressed: “Murdering Anna could direct even more heat onto Minah because Anna brought up her name. I hope that this week doesn’t end in the banishment of Minah #TheTraitorsUK.

A sixth viewer chimed in with their strategy insights, commenting: “I really hope the faithfuls pick up on the fact that Anna was suspicious of Minah before she was murdered… if they don’t they’re utterly useless. #TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK.”.

The latest episode kicked off with a devious plot as Traitor Minah lured Charlotte to the castle’s front, presenting her with a chilling ultimatum: join the Traitors or face death that very night. Charlotte, opting for survival, agreed to become a Traitor, and the duo returned to the castle to scheme.

Together, Minah and Charlotte weighed their deadly options, considering Anna, Linda, and Jake as potential victims, ultimately settling on Anna as their target.

With the contestant count dropping to just 11, alliances are fracturing and paranoia is peaking as the players grow increasingly distrustful of each other.

In a dramatic conclusion, Alex was voted out and banished from the castle, leaving his fellow contestants stunned when he disclosed his true allegiance as a Faithful.

The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
