GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WLEX) – A couple in Kentucky is adjusting to life as parents of quadruplets.
Matt and Madison Lawson welcomed four baby boys on Oct. 13 after a long journey with infertility.
The rainbow babies – a term used for children born after a previous miscarriage – are a blessing that the Lawsons said are worth the wait.
“We’re just so very grateful for them. We tried so hard for a baby, and now we got four little miracle babies,” mom Madison Lawson said.
The parents say brothers Griffin, Marlowe, Lane, and Knox all have distinct personalities.
Their dad describes Griffin as the “troublemaker” and “very sassy.”
Marlowe is nicknamed “Mellow Marlowe” because he is calm.
Lane is the “photogenic one” and is always smiling, his mom said.
Knox is “calm and chunky,” the parents laughed.
The Lawsons are adjusting to new life with a very busy schedule. They said they go through a whole can of formula and 50 diapers every day.
Even with four times the feedings and four times the diaper changes, the Lawsons said they are grateful for their babies.
