The Love Island All Stars edition is really starting to sizzle, with tensions rising and drama unfolding in the sun-soaked villa. The arrival of bombshells coupled with the aftermath of the season’s first recoupling has set the stage for a range of emotionally-charged conversations among the Islanders.

On Friday (17 January), viewers of the ITV2 reality show saw Nas and Catherine’s relationship blossom as they shared their first smooch. The pair retreated to the terrace, a more private spot within the villa, where their lips met after a heart-to-heart about where they stand with each other.

Although Nas and Catherine’s smooch seemed to leave them both beaming, some watchers remain sceptical about the depth of their bond.

Opinions flooded social media platforms, as fans voiced their take on the couple’s chemistry. One unimpressed viewer expressed: “I’m sorry i cant fake getting behind Nas and Catherine. This man just said hes a slowburn #loveisland.”

Another chimed in, suggesting the couple might be playing a game: “Catherine and Nas you cannot trick me but you got to fake it till you make it i guess,” while a third added: “Catherine, you can’t be serious with Nas #LoveIsland.”

A succinct critique from someone else was, “I’m just not convinced nas and catherine like eachother… #LoveIslandAllStars #LoveIsland.”

In another part of the episode, there was a turnaround for Elma and Ronnie who managed to find common ground after his unexpected kiss with Kaz. Deciding to put the incident behind them, they agreed to move forward together following Ronnie’s decision to stick with Elma at the recoupling ceremony, reports Wales Online.

During their heartfelt conversation, Ronnie opened up, saying: “It took me by surprise but also it made me realise how well we got on and I’m at an age now where I need to grow up.”

Elma then revealed her feelings: “I put you and Kaz on a pedestal and more fool me, I felt mugged off.”

In response, Ronnie offered reassurance, expressing his contentment with their current situation: “I like the way things are going with me and you, I was a road bump, I don’t know what you’re feeling but here and now I do enjoy being around you, I am sorry about how everything happened.”
