Stunned Luke Littler has been sent crashing out of the Bahrain Darts Masters.
Welshman Gerwyn Price produced a stunning show to send the World Champion spinning out of the competition at the quarter-final stage. Littler entered the tournament as title holder and full of confidence after his record-breaking success at the Ally Pally. However, an inspired Iceman was simply brilliant as he stormed beyond The Nuke to reach the last four.
Price hit six perfect darts in one attempt as he chased a nine darter and came even closer later in the match when he wired a double 12 for a perfect leg. Nonetheless, the former World Champion stayed right in the zone and he took advantage of some rare misses from Littler to keep up the pressure.
Price proved way too strong at the end and posted an astounding average of over 115 to clinch his triumph and move into the semi-finals of the World Series opener.
