Two people have been arrested after a family was reported missing in Edinburgh.
A frantic search was launched in an effort to find the two parents and their children, which included an 11-month-old baby, who vanished in from Gracemount on January 16.
The family were traced safely but cops say now a 32-year-old man and 28-year-old woman have now been arrested in connection with the incident/
Police Scotland stated that an investigation was ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Following our inquiries to locate a family last seen in the Captain’s Road area of Edinburgh on Thursday, 16 January, 2025, we are pleased to confirm the family has been traced safe and well.
“We would like to thank everyone for sharing our information. A 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested and inquiries are ongoing.”
