It’s a classic David and Goliath match-up this weekend as Rangers take on minnows Fraserburgh at Ibrox.
Highland League side Broch face a dream trip to Govan in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday – seven years after Gers won 3-0 at Bellslea Park. It’s a glamour tie for Mark Cowie’s ninth-placed side – who haven’t played since December 28 due to call-offs. But there’s no chance the Broch will be caught by the cold, with the adrenaline already pumping throughout Cowie’s squad.
Just like the last time these two teams met, it should be a routine victory for the Light Blues as Philippe Clement attempts to salvage the season with a showpiece Hampden triumph in May. But if part-time Fraserburgh can somehow mastermind a monumental upset, it would go down as the most stunning result in the competition’s history. We wouldn’t be sticking them on the accumulator, though!

Team news
Rabbi Matondo and Kieran Dowell’s days at Rangers appear to be numbered after it emerged during the week that Philippe Clement wants to offload the pair this month. Both were missing from Wednesday night’s matchday squad as Gers thumped Aberdeen 3-0. Meanwhile Jack Butland and John Souttar remain sidelined through injury.
