At least 30 people have been injured after a ski lift collapsed at a resort in Spain.
Emergency services are currently at the scene at Astún station, in Canal Roya which is on the Spanish border with France, in the Pyrenees mountain range.
It is understood helicopters are being rushed to reach the injured and transport them to hospitals.
The number of people injured and extent of their injuries is unknown. Local media reports suggest around 10 people may have suffered serious injuries in the accident and have been transferred to the San Jorge Hospital in Huesca.
The cause of the incident is still unknown but it appears a chairlift has collapsed due to a problem with the cable. The resort has been closed with the emergency operation continues.
President of the government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, said he had been informed of the incident and was travelling to the scene.
He wrote: “All the necessary services of the DGA are working to assist the affected and injured people.”
Hospitals have also received an alert due to the seriousness of the situation.
A telephone line has been set up for the families of those affected.
